Subotica wine-growing region includes sandy terrain in Subotica-Horgos sands in the far North of the Republic of Serbia, along the border with Hungary. Subotica wine-growing region consists of two separate parts: eastern and western.

Riđica wine-growing subregion is located in the western part of the region and on sandy terrain along the border of Bački Breg in the West to the beginning Telečka plateau to the East. Wine-growing subregion Riđica consists of three wine-growing oasis: Breg, Rastina and Riđica and borders of wine-growing oases are also the borders of the Riđica wine-growing subregion.

Palić wine-growing subregion is located in the central part of the region and on sandy terrain around Subotica and Palić, and consists of two parts – the Western, located in the area around the Gornji and Donji Tavankut and East, which is located in the area around Subotica, Palić and Bački Vinogradi.
