Banat wine-growing region extends in Banat, consisting of a vineyard oases, which are grouped in Kikinda wine-growing subregion and Banat-Srednji wine-growing subregion

Banat wine-growing region includes parts of municipalities Kikinda, Zrenjanin and Novi Bečej.

Banat wine-growing region covers an area of 12 706.07 hectares, where the largest wine-growing subregion is Kikinda wine-growing subregion.

Kikinda wine-growing subregion is located on the territory of the Serbian-Romanian border in municipality Nakovo to near the Tisa River in municipality Novo Miloševo.

Kikinda wine-growing subregion includes parts of municipalities Iđoš, Kikinda, and Novo Miloševo.

Banat-Srednji wine-growing subregion is located in the area in the surroundings of Zrenjanin, and in the area of the rivers Tisa and Tamiš (Tamiška Terasa).

Banat-Srednji wine-growing subregion includes parts of municipalities Melenci, Srpski Elemir, Elemir, Srpski Aradac, Slovački Aradac, Orlovat, Botoš and Farkaždin.
