Vranje wine-growing region covers the territory of the municipalities of Vladičin Han, Surdulica, Vranje, Bujanovac and Preševo.

Vranje wine-growing region occupies an area of 57 801.82 hectares, where the largest wine-growing subregion is Vrtogoš wine-growing subregion.

Surdulica wine-growing subregion is located in the north and represents physically separated wine-growing subregion – an oasis in a valley between the river Južna Morava and Surdulica.

Wine-growing subregion included municipalities

Surdulica wine-growing subregion includes parts of municipalities Vladičin Han, Prekodolce, Žitorađa, Zagužanje, Surdulica, Donje Romanovce, Masurica, Suvojnica, Dugojnica, Binovce, Degutince, Gramađe, Jelašnica and municipalities Kalabovce and Alakince.

Vrtogoš wine-growing subregion is located in the central part of the region and on both sides in relation to the Južna Morava river, and has two parts, western and eastern.

Wine-growing subregion included municipalities

Vrtogoš wine-growing subregion covers the following municipalities:
The western part: parts of  municipalities Moštanica, Mazarać, Struganica, Klašnjice, Bresnica, Ranutovac, Mečkovac, Suvi Dol, Vranje grad, Vranje II, Katun, Soderce, Ribince, Donji Neradovac, Dubnica, Milivojce, Beli Breg, Pavlovac, Gornji Vrtogoš, Davidovac, Karadnik, Srpska Kuća, Rakovac, Lopardince, Bujanovac, Veliki Trnovac and Turija,  and municipalities Bunuševce, Gornji Neradovac, Stropsko and Donji Vrtogoš.

The eastern part: parts of municipalities Korbevac, Bujkovac, Vranjska Banja, Kumarevo, Toplac, Ćukovac, Dulan, Tibužde, Zlatokop, Donje Trebešinje, Preobraženje, Donja Otulja, Rataje II, Aleksandrovac, Donje Žapsko, Gornje Žapsko, Milanovo, Buljesovce, Buštranje, Krševica, Klinovac, Trejak, Kuštica, Spančevac, Brnjare and Malo Buštranje, and municipalities Klenike and Petka.

Buštranje wine-growing subregion is located in the central part of the region and the wider area of the Preševo valley, and consists of two parts, western and eastern.

Buštranje wine-growing subregion covers the following municipalities:
The western part: parts of municipalities Končulj, Lučane, Oslare, Nesalce, Gramada, Letovica, Rajince, Crnotince, Donja Šušaja, Bukarevac I, Oraovica, Preševo, Norča, Trnava, Miratovac and municipality Cakanovac.

The eastern part: parts of municipalities Levosoje, Božinjevac I, Bujanovac, Žuželjica, Ljiljance, Žbevac, Borovac, Samoljica, Negovac, Biljača, Bratoselce, Buštranje, Reljan, Golemi Dol, Aliđerce, Strezovce, Miratovac and Slavujevac.
